Ear Cuff Care

Your ear cuff has been carefully made and features securely set stones. Because of its delicate construction, proper wear and handling are essential to maintaining its beauty and longevity.

Before Wearing

  • Your ear cuff is designed to fit as made and should not be squeezed, pinched, bent, or adjusted to fit your ear.
  • Bending or forceful adjustments can weaken the metal and compromise the stone settings, increasing the risk of stones becoming loose or falling out.

How to Wear

  1. Locate the thinnest part of your upper ear.
  2. Gently slide the cuff onto your ear at this point.
  3. Once in place, carefully rotate or slide it into your desired position.
  4. Do not force the cuff open or closed while putting it on or taking it off.
  5. Bridget King Jewelry is not responsible for any damages resulting from improper handling of the ear cuff.

General Care

Each piece of Bridget King Jewelry has been designed and manufactured from the highest quality materials. Proper maintenance and care will preserve the beauty and shine of your jewelry. Please handle the jewelry with care and always put your jewelry on after you dress to avoid contact with perfumes, hair styling products, cosmetics and body lotion. Remove your jewelry before swimming in the ocean or chlorinated swimming pools.

We recommend you store each piece in the original Bridget King pouch or in a lined box. Our small pouches have a divider inside so you can store your earrings separately to avoid scratches.

Most of our 14K and 18K jewelry with or without diamonds can be gently cleaned with warm water and diluted mild dish soap and blot dry with a soft cloth. For South Sea Pearls and Freshwater Pearls, do not use any water or soap, only gently wipe with a soft dry cloth.  Do not use any chemicals, abrasive cloths or solutions for any of the jewelry as it can damage or scratch the surface.  When unsure, it is always best to take it to a professional jeweler.

Charm necklaces with multiple charms might produce a dark residue, which occurs naturally when the charms rub against each other. You can wipe each charm with a soft dry cloth.  Do not clean your engraved  charms with water as the darkened engravings might lighten.
